website construction

i want to make my own website for my photography work. one of those really cool ones that many people have on this site.
i have a lot of good stuff that has not yet made it onto this site, and i'd like to showcase it in another format, something i can show to future employers and customers.
can anyone help me with ideas and whatnot? i'd like to do it myself. i am not willing to pay. all help will be greatly appriciated!

Hi. you've got a pretty nice gallery here. i think your last upload, "country livin'" is very nice, though i think i'd like to see the truck stand out just a little bit more from the background. also, your entire couch series is really brilliant. i think most of you b&w work is very good, though i'm not crazy about the closeup stuff. anyway, keep up the good work.

i looked at your gallery. i didnt have time to comment on them but i loved the flower and sunset shots the most. and glad to see someone knows who ansel adams is and is one of their fav photographers.
